We always try to source our ingredients as locally and as seasonally as possible. All our meats come from our local butcher in Pickering, her specialities include the ‘Nicey Spicey’ sausages and black pudding made to her own recipe. In season we like to pick our own fruits from our allotment and the PYO farms in the area. Eggs come from our local farm shop, jams and marmalades are all homemade. Special diets can be catered for on request. Tea & Cake Afternoon tea is served everyday, with our compliments. Relax in the guest sitting room accompanied by Neville’s homemade cake (sometimes the famous lemon drizzle cake, a favourite of our returning guests.)

There are lots of pubs and restaurants in the area offering a wide range of menus. From lobster to fish and chips, curry or steak there is something for all tastes.
